How we handle personal data collected through this website.
Who we are
This website is run by Third Eye Open Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, number 15214549, at Campfield, Liverpool Road, Manchester M3 4FP. Third Eye Open Ltd is the controller of the personal data collected here, and is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration ZC192894.
To contact us about your data, email hello@teosense.com, use the contact form and choose “Something else”, or write to us at the address above.
What we collect, why, and our lawful basis
The contact form
Your name, work email address and organisation, what you would like from us, and, if you give them, your sector, roughly how many rooms or sites you have, and your message.
We use them to reply to you and to arrange anything you ask for, such as a walkthrough or our security pack. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to an enquiry you chose to send us.
To stop automated spam, the server that receives the form keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of the IP address it came from, with the time, so it can limit how many enquiries one address sends in an hour.
Server logs
When you visit, our web host records your IP address, browser type, the pages you ask for and the time. These logs keep the site running and secure and let us count visits. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: running a secure website.
Website analytics, only if you accept
If you choose “Accept analytics”, Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) records the pages you view, roughly where you are (country and city), your device and browser, and how you reached the site. We use it to see which pages help. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with Cookie settings. Google Signals and advertising features are off, and Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. See cookies.
What we don’t collect
No advertising, no tracking across other sites, and no analytics unless you accept.

Each processes your data only on our instructions and to provide its service.
Transfers outside the UK
Resend and Google may process your data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the safeguards in their data processing terms: the UK addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, or another mechanism recognised under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: two years after our last contact with you, then deleted, unless you become a customer, in which case our agreement with your organisation applies.
- Server logs: kept by our host for a short period and then deleted automatically.
- The hashed IP address for the spam limit: deleted once the hour has passed, when another enquiry arrives.
- Analytics data, if you accepted: kept by Google Analytics for 14 months, then deleted automatically. The cookies expire after 13 months.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it or restrict how we use it. You can also object to our using it on the basis of legitimate interests. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

This notice covers the website only. Data in the TEO Sense product, such as sensor readings and user accounts, is handled under our agreement with each customer. See security.
